King's Wok Baton Rouge

“I have been going to King Wok for a long time now, a fantastic Chinese restaurant in Baton Rouge run by Ann and her family. Supporting local businesses is important to me, and King Wok is definitely one of the best spots in town for your Chinese food cravings. The crab Rangoon was a standout dish for me, perfectly crispy with a deliciously savory cream cheese filling. The sweet dipping sauce complemented it perfectly, and I found it also paired well with their egg rolls. For the main course, I tried the general Tso chicken, which was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly fried and coated in a sweet and spicy sauce, served with broccoli. The fried rice was also excellent, a flavorful mix of egg, pork, carrots, and peas. One of my favorite items was the wonton egg drop soup, a comforting bowl filled with huge wontons and crispy fried wonton chips. It's a must-try. I also enjoyed the black bean chicken, cooked in a savory sauce with onion, carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, and baby corn. Their lo mein was a great side dish, too. Their lunch special is such an amazing deal, and I was impressed by how fast they were with preparing the food. I always call ahead to place my order over the phone. I highly recommend King Wok for delicious Chinese food and excellent service.”

“This is definitely not a sit-down spot, more of a grab-and-go, but the food is great! They give a generous portion of food and even call to tell you your food is ready if you're running late lol. They're fast, and I love the crab rangoons!”

“Been happy to discover this and go multiple times a week. The meals are hardy and delicious and they are very generous with the portions and maintain quality. Always kind and welcoming when picking up food as well. And they are accommodating with vegetarian requests.”

“We love this place, that we stumbled upon when trying to find a good Chinese restaurant. My favorite is their shrimp with mixed vegetables that they'll make it spicy if you want. A large sized order will get you thru 2 days or at least 2 chow downs. They're strictly take out and closed on Saturdays...but we'll worth it.”

“Edit 10 15 2025. I have been 5 times now. For $2 extra, you can get house fried rice. Just remember, make it SPICY! *** Gyat DANG! Y'all been holding out on me! I got the L11 today and requested my fried rice spicy. Y'all... that spiced pork fried rice was heaven. Just yhe right amount of heat and flavor to really level up this dish. The teriyaki chicken was not sickly sweet like many places make it. And that wonton soup tasted simple and clean. ALLLLL this good was 10 bucks before tip. YowzaH! If you haven't been in a long time like me, they have stepped this place up. Zero complaints, deserves 10 stars, fast service, everything fresh, brought yourself here right away, tou won't regret it, just make sure you ask them to make the rice spicy, and thank me later!”
